More about this group

Public Management is a new and expanding research group in the Department. It brings together colleagues interested in a wide range of questions relevant to the field of Public Management, spanning different disciplinary and methodological perspectives and situating research across a range of public service contexts including education, healthcare, the police service. There is a focus on interdisciplinary research, connecting with colleagues both in the University and beyond, with the aims of both advancing theoretical debates and addressing direct, policy-relevant questions that have broader economic and societal impact. Current topics of interest being studied across different public service contexts include change management; working time and well-being; accountability and governance; and public service reform: process, change and outcomes.
