Personal profile

I am a Teaching Associate in Management and a PhD candidate at the University of Bristol.  My PhD thesis examines the internationalisation of oil and gas firms. More specifically, the sources of hazards, risks and uncertainties which developed-country international oil companies (IOCs) experience in developed and developing markets, with particular focus on Cyprus, Israel and Egypt. Since January 2018, I have been a Visiting Scholar and Post-Graduate Researcher at Columbia University, where I have been working on three publications exploring how IOCs could assist developed countries in which they are operating to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I hold a BA from University College London and an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

In terms of industry experience, I have been a trainee in the Division of Energy Policy of the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in 2014-2015 I was an Associate in Allianz (UK).
