Dr Mary Phillips collaborates on production of climate change handbook
22 November 2015
In the run-up to the crucial United Nations climate change talks in Paris this December, Mary Phillips has worked with Stephan Lewandowsky from the School of Experimental Psychology and Adam Corner from Climate Outreach to produce The Uncertainty Handbook.
The handbook summarises the literature on scientific uncertainty in climate change and how it can be used in decision making. It is aimed at helping organisations and practitioners respond and communicate effectively about the uncertain effects of climate change. The handbook was funded by an ESRC Impact Acceleration Award and is already beginning to have notable impact.
The United Nations conference on climate change takes place in Paris from 30th November to 11th December.
