Undergraduate Prize-Winners

Congratulations to this year's undergraduate prize winners in the School of Economics Finance and Management.

School Prizes

Michelle Ng (2nd year Accounting and Finance) won the Deloitte Prize for 80% average in Accounting and Finance units. 

"My second year of study was challenging but very enjoyable.  I would like to show my appreciation to lecturers and tutors for being so supportive and helpful.  I look forward to my final year at Bristol University.

Luke Taylor (2nd year Economics and Econometrics) won the Philip Geffrey Powesland Prize for 77% average with six Firsts.

"Thanks to everyone who helped me win this prize."

Christopher Mackel (2nd year Economics) won the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Prize for the highest grade in Principles of Finance.

Benjamin Coyle (2nd year Economics) won the Miles Fleming Prize for 81% average in Intermediate Microeconomics and Intermediate Macroeconomics.

"I would like to thank my lecturers and friends for supporting me through what turned out to be a very rewarding, challenging and enjoyable second year."

 

Samantha Samarawickrama (1st year Economics and Management) won the Terry Prize for 78% overall average with six Firsts.

"My first year of university has been an amazing one with a lot of learning experiences and I am really glad that I was able to experience university life at Bristol.  I am looking forward to a great second year."

 

Faculty Prizes

Olga Gdula (1st year Economics and Econometrics) won the Alumni Achievement Award for 85% average with five Firsts.

"I have always found Economics a truly fascinating subject and thanks to my inspiring lecturers and tutors it has never ceased to surprise me!"

 

Samantha Samarawickrama (1st year Economics and Management) won the Dean's Prize for outstanding first year performance with 78% overall average with six Firsts.

"My first year of university has been an amazing one with a lot of learning experiences and I am really glad that I was able to experience university life at Bristol.  I am looking forward to a great second year."

Fei Xu (1st year Accounting and Management) won the Dean's Prize for outstanding first year performance with 75% overall average with six Firsts.

Richard Enwezor (2nd year Accounting and Management) won the Evelyn Miller Barstow Prize for 78% average with six Firsts.
