Joselia Rosario, BSc Accounting and Finance

Prior to university, I studied A-levels at St Felix School in Southwold. The reputation and position in the rankings influenced my choice to attend the University of Bristol. The reputation was also backed up by my teachers at school who recommended that I consider the University of Bristol. The City of Bristol seemed to be a good place to both live and study.

I chose to study Accounting and Finance within the School of Economics, Finance and Management because I like the combination of accounting and finance. The programme focuses on these two fields, but at the same time offers the opportunity to study modules from areas such as economics and management.

The people within the school of EFM are always friendly. The teachers are ready to help and will answer any question that you have. The tutorials assist with understanding the materials from the lectures.

Bristol is a big city with an acceptable living cost. It is not as crowded as London, so it doesn’t feel stressful living here. The City of Bristol is beautiful and calm; the atmosphere allows you to concentrate on your studies and at the same time enjoy student life. The University is nicely located; although it is on the top of a hill, it is also very close to the city centre.

The University of Bristol is a prestigious university with good facilities. Its reputation and location makes it a very attractive choice. It is worth considering this university if you want to study in a calm place.
