Before you arrive
We have developed a self-help section for you. It has answers to many of your most frequently asked questions as an offer-holder at Bristol.

Students attending our Pre-sessional Academic English Courses at Bristol will be invited to meet with school staff at our Pre-sessional FAQ sessions. Further details will be confirmed at a later date.
School welcome event
All new postgraduate students with the School of Economics Finance and Management will be invited to attend an Economics, Finance and Management postgraduate welcome event, which will be specific to your programme. This will be a great opportunity to meet other students on the same programme of study as you. Academic members of staff will also be there and you will be able to have an informal chat with them. Food, wine and soft drinks such as orange juice will be available at this event.

Postgraduate tutor team
The School provides a specialised team of postgraduate tutors (PDF, 1,372kB) from every department who are able to provide academic and personal support for new students.
School Enrolment will take place on 24th September for all postgraduate students joining the School of Economics, Finance and Management in September 2018.

Welcome week information for each of our MSc programmes will be available soon.
You may want to consider becoming a Course Rep for your programme whilst studying at the University of Bristol.
The Careers Service organises a varied programme of events for all students including talks and interactive workshops covering everything from CVs to networking.
