Alberto Politi

 

 

My research and interests are mainly related to the Fundamentals of Quantum Physics, and their applications to the problems related to quantum computing and quantum measurements.

In particular: Experiments involving classical and non-classical beams of light, optical modeling of bulk and guiding components. Light propagation in integrated components. Photonic structures: linear optical properties, propagation in photonic crystal waveguides, emission in photonic crystal slabs.
