I received my Ph.D degree from Tsinghua University and was a post-doctoral research associate in the Electrical Machines and Drives (EMD) Research Group, the University of Sheffield and visiting scholar in Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Tech.
Research Interests
- Power electronics
- Sensor and sensor-less control of induction motor and permanent magnet motor
- Wind power generation using doubly fed induction generator and direct-drive permanent magnet generator
- High power, medium voltage multilevel converter topology and control
- Bi-directional battery charger and drive train design for electric vehicle
