This will be the first of two workshops the School is offering to students to help them connect and communicate across cultures. (The second workshops will be in the early part of 2022).

The University of Bristol and the city of Bristol are richly diverse communities and on 25th we will be exploring how we can communicate effectively and appropriately with people from different language and cultural backgrounds to ourselves. We will look at how we can become clearer intercultural communicators and better intercultural listeners. We will also find out how culture can impact on communication behaviours and reflect on how easily we can misunderstand each other.

We are hoping it will be a large-scale workshop but still with lots of opportunities for interaction and connection.
