GW4 Biomedical Doctoral Training Partnership opportunity

28 October 2016

There is a new upcoming project within the GW4 Biomedical Doctoral Training Partnership, funded by the Medical Research Council, entitled 'Towards personalised behavioural obesity treatment in children and adolescents'.

The project will identify effective measures to characterise obesity-related eating behaviours in children recruited from a hospital clinic and community, such as impulsive over-eating, eating fast or large portions.

Tailored interventions will be developed and provided as 'apps', and their effects will be assessed with the use of brain imaging and experimental psychology.

Click here if you are interested in applying for the scheme or receiving further information. You can also contact the project's lead PhD supervisor Dr Elanor Hinton at Elanor.Hinton@bristol.ac.uk.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 1 December 2016.
