Centre for Public Engagement
Valuing two-way conversations
Public engagement sets in motion things you can’t predict
Dr Anne Cooke, Bristol Neuroscience
Public engagement is part of how the University interacts with the outside world. A very rewarding part of academic life at Bristol, sharing research and teaching makes the University more open to the public.
The Centre for Public Engagement supports and promotes these interactions, from getting people directly involved in research and attracting them to many free public events run by the University, to helping academics share their work with new audiences.
