Julia is responsible for administrative management of the Centre for Market and Public Organisation, including research grant finances, bid preparation, full economic costing, delivery of projects and the administrative team. Julia’s experience in Higher Education spans 15 years, and began with a teaching post at the University of Paris (La Sorbonne), followed by administrative and management posts in the UK focusing predominantly but not exclusively on the delivery of Initial Teacher Education programmes. She has worked extensively with the Bristol Schools Partnership, with student teachers, senior school staff and external regulators and funders. Voluntary work includes the schools’ sector and the NHS.
A graduate of the University of Bath (BA Hons) Modern Languages and European Studies (French and Russian), Julia began her career in Development Banking in London and in the corporate sector (Mergers & Acquisitions) overseas. A member of the Chartered Management Institute, Julia is currently completing the dissertation year of the Bristol MSc in Strategic Management.
