To protect your computer from viruses. McAfee VirusScan is required for all Windows computers connected to the University network. Updates are available daily (and checked for automatically each hour) to protect from new viruses. The auto-update will work over either the University network or the Internet.

Department Computer are pre-configured with McAfee VirusScan 8i
