Unfortunately the 4 year funded BSc Audiology will no longer be recruited to. The University of Bristol has decided not to continue with the 2011 intake in light of the Department of Health's proposed changes to Audiology training.
Current BSc Audiology students at the University of Bristol will not be affected by these changes and their cohorts will continue as normal.
Audiology training will change at some Universities from 2011 and nationally from 2012 with the introduction of the Modernising Scientific Careers pathways. Audiology degrees will change to a 3 year HEFCE funded course; tuition fees will no longer be paid by the NHS.
The Centre for Hearing and Balance Studies apologises for any disappointment and inconvenience caused to those hoping to study Audiology here in the future.
