There is a continuous drive to improve the range and quality of services provided by audiology departments in the UK. A number of documents recently published by the Department of Health as part of the 18 week initiative have focused on the need to improve the quality and efficiency of audiology services. With this as the focus the Centre for Hearing and Balance Studies have secured funding from the South West Strategic Health Authority to provide a small number of scholarships for entry onto the MSc programmes.The scholarships are only available to UK/EU applicants who are currently working for the NHS in either Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset or Wiltshire.
