What do you
care about

USA taxpayers

Thank you for your interest in supporting the University of Bristol. Every donation received by the University helps to teach the very best of each generation and develop them into the adults that will have an impact on research, people, institutions and countries throughout the world.

If you are a US taxpayer you may wish to make your gift to the University of Bristol Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which supports the University. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Foundation is an independent US non-profit organization which supports the University of Bristol and other related educational institutions, and the board of directors of the Foundation have determined to support the Centenary Campaign.

The Foundation can also accept donation of appreciated stock, matching gifts and planned gifts and you can advise the Foundation where you would like your donation to be directed. The board of directors, who have complete discretion over the distribution of funds, will consider your wishes when making grants. The Foundation will indicate to the University that your gift has made a grant possible.

You will receive from the Foundation a receipt so you can claim your tax deduction. If you give the dollar equivalent of £1,000 or more, you will also be named as a Bristol Pioneer.

If you have any questions about making donations to the Foundation please contact alumni@bristol.ac.uk
