16 May 2018

The Bristol Poetry Institute has become a partner of the Ledbury Poetry Festival.

The Ledbury Poetry Festival takes place over ten days each July (29th June – 8th July in 2018). The event, now in its 22nd year, is the UK's largest poetry festival, and features poets from across the globe. There are live readings, performances, workshops, open mics, music, exhibitions, films, family events, street events, and a poetry slam. The Festival also runs a year round Community Programme, Schools Programme, and a New and Emerging Writers’ Programme.

As well as the on-going partnership, BPI poets, along with students and staff of the Department of English, will take place in this year's programme.
