Our courses

The Graduate School of Arts and Humanities at Bristol is home to around 700 full-time and part-time postgraduate students on taught programmes (MA) or on research programmes (MPhil, MLitt, PhD). Our internationally renowned academic staff actively conduct research in their own individual disciplines and also contribute to interdisciplinary exchanges across subject boundaries to foster a vibrant community of advanced learning.

The Graduate School harnesses together academic, postgraduate and administrative activity in one location which provides you with a supportive and intellectually enriching environment in which to pursue your educational development. With a regular programme of activities including research seminars, training skills sessions and social events, we aim not only to deliver a positive and productive postgraduate experience here at Bristol, but also to enrich your future beyond your postgraduate studies, whether this be enhancing your employability or nurturing your own personal achievement goals.
