RX-Research Exchange in History of Art Network Postgraduate Conference
Boundaries? New Histories of Art, Architecture and Design
9.30 am - 6.45 pm, Wednesday 27 April 2011, 43 Woodland Road, University of Bristol
The University of Bristol and the RX-Research Exchange in History of Art are pleased to announce this one-day conference that will interrogate the idea of boundaries in the History of Art, Architecture and Design.
Boundaries divide and indicate limits; they can be geographic, historical, social or disciplinary. But what happens when those boundaries are crossed? What about the spaces in-between boundaries, what can occur in these liminal spaces?
This conference, organised by the RX-Research Exchange in History of Art network, aims to bring together History of Art, Design and Architecture postgraduates to engage with and reflect upon current research ideas and methods which speak to the theme of ‘Boundaries’.
