Our Mumbai campus
Our first international campus will open in Mumbai, India in August 2026. This bold new step for the University of Bristol will bring our programmes to India. It will co-create education and research opportunities with local partners, generating long-term benefit for students, educators and communities.

We work with leading international universities to support students from around the world to transfer their studies to the University of Bristol.
Study Abroad

Bristol Summer
We offer short, intensive summer programmes that give international students a taste of our research, teaching and the city of Bristol.
Sponsors
We work with governments, embassies, employers, charitable foundations and other organisations to fund talented students and widen access to a Bristol education.

Benjamin Meaker Annual Awards
Supporting international academics to partner with a University of Bristol ‘host’ academic for a year-long research collaboration. The funding is designed to support joint funding bids, international co-authored publication and knowledge exchange.
Research Development International Collaboration Awards (RDICA)
Funding of up to £5,000 for international researchers to collaborate with University of Bristol academics. RDICAs can be used to fund international visits and workshops, but are not suitable for conferences or sustained research activity.
Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) Research Development Fund (RDF)
Grants of up to £10,000 for one year to foster research collaborations among academic staff at WUN member universities. Grants from the RDF are directed towards collaborative projects that address issues within sustainable development.

Become an Isambard Global Visiting Professor
We invite distinguished scholars in AI and related emerging technologies to become part of our innovative community by joining our Isambard Global Visiting Professorship Scheme.
