Title: How ETSI and 3GPP create Standards

Anstract:

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) is a partner in 3GPP. Together they create the standards that dominate the mobile communications industry. Sadly academic inputs are rare, and researchers are often not even aware of what has been, or is being developed. This talk will show how to find standards, how the standards process works, introduce the tools to see what is being developed and who is working on it.
