Getting involved with University of Bristol research ethics
There are various ways in which you can become involved in the University of Bristol research ethics review process and wider research ethics community.
Members of staff are welcome to submit an expression of interest to become a member of a research ethics committee or be involved in undertaking research ethics advocacy work within your school, faculty or across the wider research community. These roles present an opportunity for members of staff and Postgraduate Researchers to engage with the complexities and challenges of research ethics and integrity and to provide valuable support to our entire research community.
Ideal candidates will have experience of research ethics and good research practice; a particular interest in ethical matters relating to human-participant research; and experience with committee processes.
Further information regarding the restructure can be found on the Research Culture Blog ‘A new way for Research Ethics at Bristol’ and our follow up blog ‘A new way of thinking about research ethics at Bristol’.
