Our events

Join us at one of our research festivals. Whether you're interested in nature, history, space, philosophy or dinosaurs, there's something for everyone.

  • FUTURES Festival of Discovery
FUTURES Festival of Discovery engages thousands of people across the South West every year. The festival offers a whole range of online and face-to-face activities, delivered in partnership with the other universities in the FUTURES consortium: Bath, Bath Spa, Exeter and Plymouth.
  • Thinking Futures
‌Thinking Futures is the University's festival of social sciences. In collaboration with communities and organisations across the city, the festival explores how the social sciences can help us as humans to imagine our collective futures. Running every year in the first week of November, Thinking Futures is part of a national Festival of Social Science.
  • Festival of Nature
Explore new ways to connect with nature via the latest research. Every year Bristol researchers get involved with the Festival of Nature, delivered in June by Bristol's Natural History Consortium. Sign up to our Connect newsletter to be notified when the call for researchers goes live.
