REDUCE-HF
REDUCE-HF is a research project funded by the NIHR School for Primary Care Research. We will use artificial intelligence (AI) and large-scale, anonymised NHS health records via the OpenSAFELY platform to investigate who is most at risk of late or hospital-based heart failure diagnosis, and how earlier detection can be improved in primary care. Our goal is to understand why some people are diagnosed late or only after being admitted to hospital, rather than through their GP and how we can change this. By combining advanced data science with strong public and community involvement, REDUCE-HF aims to support earlier, fairer diagnosis and improve care for everyone at risk of heart failure.
