Research interests
Zoë completed her PhD at UCL, investigating social cognition in patients with schizophrenia. She has gone on to publish in various areas of mental health research, and is currently working in a post-doctoral capacity on two studies based at the University of Bristol.
Zoë's work at the University of Bristol is centred on the impact of digital technology use on mental health. Within the Digital Dialogues project, she is working as a part of a collaborative team to understand the training needs of mental health professionals (MHPs) in opening up conversations about children and young people's (CYPs) online use. To do this, the team aim to work closely with CYP to engage them in the design and development of resources for MHPs.
Within the DELVE project, Zoë is continuing to explore data, analysing user experiences of moderation and moderators in online spaces with suicide and self-harm content.
