Research interests
I'm currently a Ph.D. student in Paleoclimate Modelling at the University of Bristol, working on simulating multi-million-year-scale dust cycle and its impact on marine biogeochemistry with Earth System Models.
My research interest falls in understanding the mechanisms underlying climate change on Earth in the past. I have a background in geology, with experiences in reconstructing paleoclimate proxies from both marine and terrestrial sediments using different methods (e.g., sedimentology, isotope, and environmental magnetic). I now primarily use modelling approaches for paleoclimate research. I am familiar with carrying out simulations with HadCM3 and cGENIE climate models, and have developed a DUSTY model specifically for simulating paleo dust emissions. My programming skills include R, NCL and Python.
