Research interests
My research focuses on the applications of composite materials at the structure level. To this aim, I develop numerical methods and frameworks designed to take advantage of the tailorability of composite materials as a means to improve structural performances. In particular, the aeroelastic optimisation of wind turbine rotors is one of my main research interest.
