Research interests
Many entirely new states of the electrons in solids have been found in the last decades such as high-temperature superconductivity and the fractional quantum Hall effect. My group aims to understand these states by measuring their low-energy magnetic and electronic excitations. Materials currently being investigated include layered transitions metal oxide systems based such as ruthenates and cuprates.
