Research interests
I am the trial portfolio lead and research facilitator in the neonatal medicine group, headed by Prof Charles Roehr. This group aims to improve the care and treatment of newborn babies, particularly those born extremely preterm (less than 28 weeks gestation). We achieve this through research studies and conducting and participating in large scale clinical trials. Our current areas of research interest include respiratory support, blood transfusion and metabolic disease in these vulnerable newborns.
