Biography
Work experience: Lecturer, the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka; Teaching/Research Assistant, KTH, Sweden; Research Associate, Lancaster University, UK; Scientist/Project Lead, A-STAR Institute of Microelectronics, Singapore, and Senior Lecturer in UWE Bristol, UK.
Education: BScEng (Peradeniya, Sri Lanka); M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Microelectronic System design (KTH, Sweden); PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (UWE Bristol, UK)
Research interests
My main research focuses on Unconventional Electronics for general sensing and computing applications. We are currently working mainly on the following opics:
- Edge-AI for resource-constraint/harsh-environments
- Sustainable electronic systems (substrates and sensors)
and aim to develop devices, circuit architectures and design methodologies for these applications.
