Research interests
I'm a psychobiologist interested in understanding the ways that our social and physical environment impact our health on a cellular level. I have a strong interest in burnout and chronic stress, and have been co-leading the CV19 Heroes Project since March 2020 tracking the welfare of frontline workers through the Covid-19 pandemic.
I'm also interested in understanding more about how social prescribing supports the health and wellbeing of individuals. I specialise in arts for health and nature for health interventions and have carried out several service evaluations for programmes of this sort in the South West of England.
