I gained my doctorate in Film from the University of Bristol in 2019. I also hold a BA (Hons) in Film Studies from the University of Kent, an MA in Film and Television Production from the University of Bristol, and a Diploma in Filmmaking from the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark. I have directed fiction and documentary works that have been screened in festivals over the world including Italy, Spain, the UK and Mexico. I also have over ten years of experience working in the filmmaking industry in a variety of roles. As assistant director, my specialism, I have worked in independent features, documentaries and commercials made in the UK and Argentina. I joined the University of Bristol as Lecturer in Film and Television in 2019. I am a founding member of the BAFTSS Special Interest Group on Film Performance and a member of MeCCSA’s Practice Network.
