Biography
I am a Chilean academic living and working in the UK. My interests include labour law (and especially collective labour rights) and human rights (with emphasis on their interactions with labour rights). I have an LLB from the Catholic University of Chile (PUC), an LLM from University College London, and a PhD from the University of Bristol School of Law. My research focuses on Freedom of Association and the challenges it faces in the changing landscapes of work and industrial relations.
Research interests
Jorge's research is focused on Freedom of Association and the right to organise, with particular emphasis on the challenges presented by new forms of work and the consequent emergence of alternative forms of worker organisation.
