Research interests
I am working on an implementation study exploring the potential roll out of a measure of airway inflammation (fractional exhaled nitric oxide/FeNO) and a FeNO guided intervention into primary care asthma reviews. I am also involved in a process evaluation nested in the intervention trial: DEFINE — Oxford University - Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit
I also support work on the sleep well study, led by Professor Lucy Yardley and funded by The Prudence Trust. The study focusses on co-creating and evaluating an online program to support young people with sleep problems.
My broad research interests include public health, with a focus on respiratory health including, tobacco policy, public response to emerging nicotine delivery products and policy, asthma management, management of the indoor environment (including aeroallergens, cigarette smoke and vapour exposures).
