My main role as a Lecturer on the Teaching and Scholarship Pathway is to focus on enhancing teaching and curriculum through evidence-based practices. I am currently the Programme Director for MSc Translational Cardiovascular Medicine in the Bristol Medical School. In this role, I oversee the overall organisation and development of the MSc program, deliver lectures, and serve as a personal tutor. Specifically, I teach in Coronary Artery Disease I and Coronary Artery Disease II units, and I also co-lead the Research Methods and Research Project units. I am particularly interested in academic skills, and passionate about ensuring our MSc students develop robust skills at the start of their journey with us.

In addition, I teach on other programmes within the Bristol Medical School, including the Reproduction and Development MSc and the iBSc in Clinical Sciences. Furthermore, I facilitate case-based learning for first and second year MB ChB Medicine students. I have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, and was recognised by the award of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy from AdvanceHE in 2022.
