Research interests
My research interests are in maternal and child health with a focus on nutrition and the environment, and associations with child health and development. My main project concerns dietary exposures to toxic metals in pregnancy, funded by an MRC Career Development Award (2020-2025). Additional projects that I lead include studies on preschool child eating behaviour (picky eating) and on the effect of early nutrition on outcomes such as obesity. Previous awards include a Daphne Jackson Fellowship (2012-2014) and a Wellcome Career Re-Entry Fellowship (2015-2019).
