Biography
I'm a social scientist and practicioner supporting knowledge mobilization in topics related with cacao, climate adaptation and disaster management. I obtained a master's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghent, Belgium and Rural Management from China Agricultural University, Beijing, China.
With over 15 years of experience, I developed a deep understanding on how to co-produce and co-implement projects funded by international development agencies such as the United Nations, the European Commission, World Bank, UKRI, DHSC, FCDO and IDRC.
Currently supporting the School of Geographical Sciences in their delivery of the REPRESA project. This project is co-lead by The Wits Global Change Institute (South Africa), Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique), and the University of Bristol (United Kingdom), along with other partners internationally and aims to tackle the impacts of tropical cyclones in Madagascar, Malawi, and Mozambique.
Supporting the implementation of the Connected Earth project at the School of Earth Sciences which aims to empower 11-to-17-year-olds from deprived socio-economic backgrounds in Bristol to explore, understand, and voice their concerns about local environmental challenges.
