Biography
I completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol in 2016, specialising in transient heat transfer and non-destructive diagnostics of multiphase flows. I worked for SUEZ Advanced Solutions UK, designing equipment closely linked to this PhD topic, and as a Research Associate at Queen Mary University of London, modelling convection cooling capabilities of low powered air-moving devices. I spent 3.5 years in the Electrochemical Science and Engineering at Imperial College London, developing my knowledge and research independence in battery academia, before moving to the University of Bristol in August 2021.
Research interests
* Battery thermal management beyond automotive applications
* Temperature dependent equivalent circuit model parameterisation
* Next generation powertrain integration
* Normalised characterisation of battery thermal performance (cell cooling coefficient and beyond)
* Beginning of 2nd life state-of-health battery diagnostics
* Solid-state equivalent circuit model parameterisation
