Meals

The children in our care are provided with a healthy, well-balanced diet of varied and nutritious meals.

The daily diet is chosen to accommodate the cultural, medical, or religious needs of the children attending.

We make sure that the meals are suitable for children and toddlers alike and that special dietary needs (e.g. for allergies, for vegetarians, for vegans, or for religious reasons, etc.) are catered for as far as possible. All members of staff are vigilant about ensuring that children follow their diets.

For younger babies parents will be required to provide milk for their children.

For the older children (Toddlers to 4 years) the nursery provides:

  • toast and fruit plus a cup of milk or water at milk time (9:30 am to 10 am)
  • a main course, a pudding and a cup of water at lunch time (12:30 pm to 1:30 pm)
  • and a light afternoon tea between (4 pm to 4:30 pm).

Lunch is freshly prepared and cooked on site.
