Here at our nursery we have a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic team and our aim is to provide an enriched environment that provides stimulating and fun experiences for the children to learn through play.

By offering our experienced staff the opportunity to continue their professional development we ensure a high level of retention and continuity.

Our staff are trained in: paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and more.

Job Vacancy for Qualified Early Years Practitioner to start from April 2026.

Salary ranging from £28,778 to £33,002pa 40hrs pw, L3.

We are a diverse and unique setting providing childcare of the staff and students at the University. Our families are not just from Bristol but from further afield or abroad. Our children are multi-lingual and we support them in various ways, including a multilingual staff team.

As a setting we focus on ensuing that children and families are settled and feel a sense of belonging in our nursery community. We are a non-profit making charity with the money received from fees going straight to staff and children’s resources.

We have a strong management team and committee, with a drive for reflection and improvement. We strive for fun, care and laughter whilst providing wonderful opportunities for the children in our care.

  • Our starting salary is: £28,778pa (From 1st April 2026, Level 3 qualified, Full -time, 40 hours per week between 8.30am and 5.30pm)

We are looking or someone who will:

  • Provide the children with a safe, secure and creative environment.
  • Have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Operate a key person system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff.
  • Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group and each individual child's needs and interests.
  • Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
  • Enjoy the variety and spontaneity of early years.

You must:

  • Have a full and relevant level 3 Qualification minimum . Level 2 applicants are welcome to apply (salary would be different)
