What DID Jennifer see?

In May 1995, after serving a decade for a crime he didn’t commit, Ronald Cotton walked out of a North Carolina prison a free man. The harrowing story of how eyewitness misidentification played a role in Cotton’s wrongful imprisonment is told by Jennifer Thompson, whose testimony resulted in his conviction. The free public talk, hosted by the University of Bristol Innocence Project in collaboration with the Bristol Festival of Ideas, takes place next week [7 March] at the Watershed.
