The University’s Research Development team triumphed at the inaugural ARMA Awards last week.

The Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ARMA), the professional association for research managers and administrators in the UK, launched the awards, in seven categories, to celebrate and recognise the greatest contributions to the field of research management and innovation.

The 21-strong Research Development team won the Research Management Team of the Year award, with the judges noting ‘the Bristol team’s consistently high level of performance over recent years’. The citation goes on:

‘As individuals and as a collective, the team has demonstrated a strong commitment to continual improvement and exemplifies the level of professionalism required by research managers and administrators to be successful. They have stewarded positive relationships with other professional services and with the academic community, which has led to a consistency of approach and ultimately high-quality bids and increased success rates.’
