Brainstorming workshop Bristol

The Leverhulme Trust International Network for Laplacians, Random Walks, Bose gas and Quantum Spin Systems is holding a brainstorming workshop in January 2017.

This workshop will focus on stochastic representations of quantum spin systems and particle systems. 

The workshop will be held at Engineer's House, Bristol, BS8 3NB. This venue is a 10 minute walk from the Avon Gorge Hotel, and roughly a 30 minute walk to the University of Bristol's School of Mathematics.

Getting here

By train: Arrive at Bristol Temple Meads Station, take a taxi to the Avon Gorge Hotel (£15-20).

By bus: Arrive at Bristol Bus Station, take a taxi to the Avon Gorge Hotel (£10-15)

By air: Arrive at Bristol airport, take the A1 bus (Bristol Flyer, £11 return, £7 one-way) to Bristol Bus and Coach Station, then a taxi to the Avon Gorge Hotel (£10-15) OR take a taxi direct to the hotel (£30-£35)

Arriving at Heathrow: Go to (Heathrow) Central Bus Station (10-15 minute walk from the terminals); then take a bus to Bristol (costs around £40 bought on the day). There are buses to Bristol up to every hour on weekdays. Arrive at Bristol Bus Station. Take a taxi from there to the hotel (£10-15).
