International Women's Day 2025 Statement of Inclusion

Statement of inclusion

This International Women's Day event, hosted by the Jean Golding Institute, is in celebration of the achievements and contributions of women working within the field of climate and health using data science and AI.

Our aim is to create a space that is welcoming, affirming, and inclusive and, as such, this event is open to attendees of all genders. We thank the male allies who are in attendance, and our speaker lineup features researchers who identify as women of which the definition includes cis-gendered, transgender and non-binary.

We are committed to ensuring this event is a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for participants and so we ask that we all be respectful of our speakers and other attendees and listen to understand one another.
