Summer abroad opportunities

Want to make the most of your summer? Explore your options to study, work or volunteer abroad during the summer vacation.

We hope to offer a range of opportunities for you to study, work or volunteer abroad in summer 2022. Programmes are due to take place in a range of locations worldwide and will last a minimum of 4 weeks. Undergraduate students will be able to apply for funding to help cover some of the costs.

Details of the programmes on offer and funding available will be released at the Global Opportunities Fair on 1 December 2021 - register your interest to receive updates.

Study

A summer study programme could be hosted by one of our partner universities. This could be a great opportunity to gain knowledge in a specific area of your subject or to explore a completely different field. As well as academic sessions, wummer study programmes often include social and cultural events so you can immerse yourself in the local culture and get to know other students.

Work

A summer work programme could be an international internship, organised by an internship provider who will provide accommodation and on the ground support. Alternatively, you could learn as you work by training on the job to teach english as a foreign languge.

Volunteer

We work with carefully selected organisations that offer opportunities to contribute to sustainable projects, including youth projects in Fiji, conservation work in Honduras, and playground building projects in Uganda.

Virtual international opportunities

Gain international experience from home and connect with communities across the globe.
