Dr Emma Parker, Lecturer in Literature and Gender in the Department of English, is joint winner of the British Association of Contemporary Literary Studies Monograph Prize 2025 for her book Life Writing and the End of Empire (Bloomsbury, 2024). The judging panel have commended the monograph as 'a wonderful book' which makes 'a very significant contribution to knowledge'.
