Visits and Donations
Visitors to our Earth Science Collection are welcome to use our Collection Study Space to view and access specimens, thin sections, maps and archival documents.
Our recently created study space enables us to welcome visitors to browse and study our collection and archives. It is equipped with desk space, a computer with access to our collection catalogues and Wifi. The study space is located on the second floor of the Wills Memorial Building but can be accessed via two lifts that are suitable for wheelchair users.
Appointment only: Tuesday - Thursday 9am - 5pm. Please contact us beforehand to make an appointment.
We encourage all academics, students and community geologists to visit our collection for personal research projects. We recommend that you give us plenty of notice about your visit to ensure that all required material is available and accessible. Find out more here.
Visits to our Collection Study Space are limited to a maximum of 15 people and require booking in advance.
We collect, preserve and make available a collection of palaeontological, geological and skeletal collection and archives and welcome offers of new material. We can offer advice on caring for your collection and on finding an alternative repository.
Visitors to the Wills Memorial Building are welcome to view exhibitions in the EarthArt as part of the Wills Memorial Tower Tours.
