Applications are now open for this year’s University of Bristol Three Minute Thesis Competition!

We are delighted to announce that applications for our 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition are now open!

Three Minute Thesis challenges postgraduate researchers to be clear, compelling, and concise as they present their research in just 180 seconds with one static slide in front of a live audience and a judging panelParticipating in the 3MT competition offers postgraduate researchers: 

  • Bespoke communication training    
  • Fresh perspectives on your research  
  • Valuable feedback on your presentation   
  • An opportunity to present to a live audience
