The centre aims to be a beacon for good EDI practices within the University and - through consultation with staff and students - is commited to continuous improvement.

We believe that equality of opportunity is key to addressing the historic unequal representation of different gender, ethnicity and race in academia.

We strive to promote an inclusive environment through mentoring activities and regular discussion of EDI issues in our monthly management meetings.
