Hosted by Cancer Research UK
The future of cancer prevention is changing to encompass more precise interventions such as cancer vaccines and risk-targeted therapeutic and behavioural approaches. This one-day, in person workshop will bring together cancer biologists, population researchers, clinicians, and others to explore the opportunities for better biological model systems to enable precision prevention approaches.
The day will start with keynote speakers setting out the needs and opportunities for biological models relevant to prevention research. This will be followed be themed roundtable discussions between participants. This will be an opportunity for you to identify potential new collaborators and generate research ideas relevant to Cancer Research UK's new Biology to Prevention awards.
